This trekking region offers exciting treks to the tourists. This magical trek starts right from Pithoragarh, which is its base. From here, the route leads to Jolingkong called Chhota Kailash, which is a small mountain village in all its beautiful Himalayan splendor and a halting place for pilgrims to the holy Mansarovar lake. The small but beautiful Parvati Lake is near by this place.

A further ascends leads to the snow covered Sinla pass from where Chhota Kailash is easily visible. Besides covering a large portion of the Kailash-Mansarovar route, one also passes through the trekking region of Kali, kuti and Dhauli. All along these routes, the trekkers are exposed to the socio-cultural life of the people living in Chaudans, Byans and Darma valleys.
