The Milam glacier, which is situated on the eastern side of the Nanda Devi sanctuary, is the birthplace of the Goriganga River. The KalaBandar glacier and the Punchachuli also feed the Goriganga River. The Munsiyari trek is located along the Goriganga trek and starts from Munsiyari and ends at the Milam Glacier. This glacier is the centre point for many treks routes and Peaks. This trek is 58 kms. long.
