Valley of Flowers Trek

Valley of flowers is surrounded by the river Pushpawati and small streams, at an elevation ranging between 3658 to3962 Mt., the valley is nearly 10 Kms. in length and 2 Kms. in width. The trek starts from Govindgarh (17 Kms.), on the way to Badrinath, having two major gradients, one initially from Alaknanda suspension bridge of Gobindghat to Pulana village, for 3 Kms., and the other from Bhyuindar to Ghanghria. After trekking 1 Kms. from Ghanghria, a bifurcation point is reached. The routes are well marked here :

The trek starts from Gobindghat (90 Kms.), on the way to Badrinath, having two major gradients, one initially from Alakhnanda suspension bridge of Gobindghat to pulana village, for 3 kms. and the other from Bhundar to Ghanghria. After trekking 3 Kms. from Ghanghria, a bifurcation point is reached. The routes are well marked here :
