This is the final point of the holy triangle comprising Kunjapuri and Surkanda Devi is the centre of the fair, perked up by religions programs, cultural performances and bubbling celebration in the month of April. Like Kunjapuri and Surkanda Devi, Chandrabadani temple is the devotees delight. One can reach Chandrabadani through two motorable routes to Tehri.

Deoprayag  30 Kms. where the tranquil Alaknanda embraces the tempestuous Bhagirathi and it is here that Ganga is truly born.

 ACCESSIBILITY 
Route No. 1: From Kaddukhal enroute Srinagar-Tehri. From here the Chandrabadani Temple is an 8 Kms. walk.

Route No. 2: one can also come from Jurana via Jamnikhal enroute Deoprayag-Tehri. Further there is a link road upto Nekhari (8 Kms.) and then a bridle path (2 Kms.) leading to the temple.

Regular bus services are available at Srinagar, Deoprayag and Tehri to reach Jamnikhal and Kandikhal comfortably.
